Cowardice or Heroism

       The story Bluffing by Gail Helgason tells of a couple, Liam and Gabrielle, as they go on a hike and are attacked by a bear and Liam flees.  After the incident Liam is in the hospital and tells Gabrielle that he ran to protect her, but is he telling the truth?
